| This web site supports our efforts at trying to achieve
a cultural change in how society views energy, it's
importance in the public's economic well-being and its role in
the public's quality of life. It is the interlocking nature of these
three Es, Energy, the Economy and the Environment that you
will see
as you surf around this site. If educators are already familiar
with this site and want to proceed directly to the program
evaluation page, please click here.
You will find information about projects and products
on which we are currently working; a section covering our public
outreach efforts that contains position papers, etc.,
addressing the need for public literacy in the 3 Es; and a
section about who we are.
Please come in, take a look around and send us
any
comments and suggestions you may have. Your impressions
are very valuable to us and will guide the future of our
program. You can reach us by e-mail at infoELP@aol.com.
- Projects. The Energy Literacy
Project is supporting an ongoing research effort at the Colorado
School of Mines to identify programs that offer
educational material about the interlocking nature of
Energy, the Economy and the Environment
- Public Outreach. Here
we offer position papers on various topics in the 3 Es and
offer lists of resources for public speaking and media
contacts, etc. We encourage you to contribute your
ideas for material in this section.
- Who we are. This section lists the project's
participants and gives a history of the project.
