Mr. Beck is currently an independent energy economic analyst and economic advisor to the Oil & Gas Journal where he was Economics Editor from 1979 through 1999.  He provides analysis and statistical data on worldwide oil and gas.

Mr. Beck is the author of the annual publication “Worldwide Petroleum Industry Outlook”, now in its 17^th edition.  Prior experience included serving as head of operating planning for the Oil Service Company of Iran and the Iranian Oil Exploration and Producing Company.

Mr. Beck is a member and has served on the board of the IAEE and the USAEE.  He has an MS in International Economics from the University of Wisconsin.  Bob is on the board of directors of the Energy Literacy Project.
