Paulette Whitcomb is the Editor in Chief of EnergyGate, the online magazine she
founded for Petroleum Place. As a
veteran energy journalist she has built a reputation of explaining the energy
industry to the public in clear English. Paulette specializes in energy
finance, international exploration and production, natural gas and electric
convergence and electric deregulation.
She has been predominantly associated with Oil & Gas Investor, Oil &
Gas sourcebook (founding editor), Natural Gas Focus (now Energy Markets,
founding editor) and was the the founding editor of Deregulation Watch site on energycentral.com
which was the winner of the '99 Microsoft award as Best energy Portal, for
superior content. Paulette also co-authored the book "Power
Play: Who's in charge of the Energy Revolution?" (PennWell,
'98). Paulette's degrees are from The George Washington University and
include a BA and MA in International Affairs.
