Mr. Demshur is chairman, president and CEO of Core Laboratories.  He has a BS in Geology from Penn State in 1977 and was recognized by the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences as a Centennial Fellow in 1996 and by the University as an Alumni Fellow in 1998.  Mr. Demshur is a member of the SPE, AAPG, PES of Great Britain, and the Society of Gcore Analysis section of the SPWLA. 

Mr. Demshur has appeared on CNN-fn, Bloomberg Television and recently participated in an Energy Forum in NYC sponsored by Bloomberg Business News. His technical expertise applies to how petroleum reservoirs work and maximizing daily and ultimate hydrocarbon production from producing fields worldwide.  Core Laboratories is a sponsor of the Energy Literacy Project.
