Please do not hesitate to submit your ideas and recommend papers to include in this resource. 
  • Flunking Out- Explores the future and possibilities of a public educated in energy and its relation to the economy and environment.  Permission granted by Hart Publications 
  • "We're just a few dinosaurs short of a full tank", by Dave Barry. Permission granted by Knight Riddler/Tribune Information Services.
  • Educating the Public - An interview with the AAPL, challenging the energy industry to be responsible for sound, unbiased, balanced public information and education on the 3E's.
  • National Energy Policy - Paper by John C. Tobin and Susan M. Landon asking the question "Were we in an energy crisis?" and if so, are there any established energy policies do deal with such a crisis. 
  • DOE Public Hearing, August 8 2001 - Presentation given by Sam Butler, President of Trinity Petroleum Management, at the DOE Public Hearing in Denver, CO.  
  • "A Precarious Balance" - Article by John C. Tobin found within the Energy Gate section of the Petroleum Place website explaining that energy markets in general and oil markets in particular have always experienced a state of volatility.  These markets are in a "precarious balance."
  • National Energy Policy & National Public Energy Education - In this section are various items discussing NEP and the role of public education programs.
