NEF

The National Energy Foundation provides supplementary educational material, courses, and programs that are focused on energy and the environment.  Instructional posters are available at a low cost, which include background information and classroom activities for particular energy topics.  Natural gas posters are free of charge.  NEF offers many professional development courses for teachers in all grade levels, and graduate credit is available.  The “Out of the Rock” program offers teacher lesson plans and resources, while providing students with an interactive learning webpage.  Finally, NEF sponsors contests to encourage teachers and students to learn more about energy and the environment.
