Foundation for Economic Education

FEE

FEE is a great resource for high school teachers and students who want to explore non-interventionist economics.  Lesson plans are available along with a searchable database of articles on economics on the website.  These resources frequently highlight the tradeoffs between the 3 E's, and also tie in the political implications.

Within FEE’s website, ready to go lesson plans on economics and the environment are readily available.  Many of these lesson plans focus on the idea of free market and help teach students about the many facets that correspond to free markets and capitalism.  These lesson plans are ready to use and well organized.  They can be found under the Education and Learning icon on the home page.  Dwight R. Lee, a professor of economics at the University of Georgia has developed many of the lesson plans dealing with economics.

FEE conducts seminars north of Manhattan for students, teachers, and professionals and also has a national convention.  For a price, the organization offers Ideas on Liberty, a monthly magazine with new articles and lesson plans, and has an online bookstore run by Laissez Faire Books.

Students are also encouraged to visit cliches.org and freespeaker.org for great sources of information.
