Academy of Energy Education

The Academy of Energy Education offers a curriculum enhancing program that is devoted to the development of instructional materials and the implementation of innovative teacher training and student programs. The Academy offers programs for students to be used throughout the school year. This program offers lesson plans, classroom materials, posters, and teacher incentives. The academy also offers college credit for participating teachers towards an advanced degree, recertification, and others. The Academy also combines the classroom experience with real-world, hands on experience. Lesson plans range from fundamental energy concepts to energy efficiency policies.

The Academy offers curriculum material for kindergarten through 12th grade, a career exploration program for seniors graduating from high school and can provide students with over 100 hours of career-related work at a Johnson Controls Branch while earning college credit.
